Serenity is nestled into the East side of Lake Mokoma, on a private drive, that overlooks the lake on the dual decks. A private feeling of peace and serenity are exactly when you get when you enter this cottage.
The main floor has an open flow with a dining room that seats six to ten guests, a living room that has a large flat screen television with cable to watch the news, or Roku to sign into your account and watch your favorite shows. There are two sliding glass doors that enter to the first large deck where there is outdoor seating and a propane grill to cook up a feast on those summer nights, or come back into the cottage where there is a fully stocked kitchen with everything you need and more!

There are two bedrooms on the first floor each with a queen size bed and a bathroom with a walk in shower and laundry room.

The second floor has additional sleeping arrangements with two more bedrooms. The first bedroom has three single beds with a spacious floor area to play games and puzzles. There is a small upper deck that faces the lake to enjoy a morning coffee before the hectic day begins. The second bedroom has a queen size bed, two twin beds, and a crib. There is a second bathroom with a tub/shower combination.

Take a stroll across the private drive to the boat dock to enjoy a day boating around with a selection of boats provided for the cottage; 1 canoe, 2 kayaks, 2 paddle boards, and 1 pedal boat.

Serenity sleeps up to ten. This is a non-smoking cottage and dogs are permitted with owner permission and a nonrefundable pet fee. WiFi is available at Serenity, but cannot be guaranteed. Linens and towels are not provided.

Return visit – still a great cabin!

"Our family of 5 rented Serenity again this summer for a week. It's a great location with excellent amenities. The property is large and comfortable. We used the kayaks a lot. Kitchen is well equipped, although I would highly recommend bringing your own sharp knife - the kitchen knives are terrible!

"Serenity was everything we wanted for our 4 day weekend. Cabin was fully stocked and clean. Location was perfect for what we wanted. We loved the Kayak and paddle boat. Every afternoon on the lake was really relaxing. Highly recommend Serenity.

A great place to relax

"Serenity was just that! A peaceful place to stay on Lake Mokoma. The house accommodated my family of 5 and our dog! The house had a lot of really cool games and puzzles that my kids loved! The house was also stocked with some basic kitchen essentials that made it easy to cook basic meals. We could hike down the road at the Mokoma Conservancy and there was a trail that took you along the lake. Worlds End state park was a 10 minute drive and Rickett's Glenn State Park was 20 minute drive.

Comfortable house, excellent location

"This house by a lake in the woods was just what we were looking for. The location was perfect--quiet with a lovely view of Lake Mokoma. We used the kayaks several times. It was an easy drive to both World's End and Ricketts Glen State Parks, where the hiking and scenery were exceptional. The house was very comfortable for six of us--clean and well equipped. The wood stove contributed to the coziness.

Perfect all the way!

"Husband and I enjoyed our stay at Serenity. House was very clean and stocked with everything you could need. I have family in Dushore area and have never been to Lake Mokoma before! We will definitaly return! Everyone we encountered in the Lake Mokoma community was very friendly. Really enjoyed relaxing on the porch swing on the large deck. While we didn't have time to experience using the boats, we did walk some of the trails around the lake which where very nice. Serenity cabin is now one of our top choices to rent when we come to the mountains!

Serenity at the lake

"Our first time staying at Serenity, it lived up to its name. My parents had a cabin here many years ago and we have stayed in many different places over the years. This is definitely one of our favorites. Quiet location with a huge deck surrounded by trees. A perfect hang out spot. Nice sized bedrooms and clean new bathrooms. We really enjoyed our time here at the lake.

A wonderful cabin in a fabulous location!

"This was the first time I rented the Serenity. I have rented other places at Mokoma in the past. I was so pleased with this cabin. It was clean, well-equipped and laid out nicely. I had a lovely view of the lake. There were kayaks and a paddle boat for our use. There are hiking trails nearby that are marked. We had access to the beach house. I would recommend it!
