Glen Eagles Lodge is a year-round cottage nestled in a wooded lot in Mountain View Estate. This cottage offers a large front covered porch with seating to watch the wildlife pass just feet in front of you. Many great indoor and outdoor features to enjoy at any season. Sit in the Adirondack chairs and enjoy the large wood burning exterior fireplace and patio with a gas grill or build a fire in the firepit. The options are endless for large groups (sleeps up to 14)

As you enter through the front door, you are greeted with large open ceilings and welcoming lodge atmosphere. The large wood burning fireplace is the center of attention as you enter. Cozy up on the couch and enjoy a cup of hot cocoa, regardless of the season. The open floor plan has a kitchen that has one of everything, or two! There are two refrigerators, a stove, microwave, dishwasher, flat top grill, two dishwashers, toaster, pizza over, and a little bit of everything else you would need! There are four barstools for a quick brunch.

There is a large great room that has another wood burning fireplace for a cozy fire and some board games. There is a dining room table that seats eight. The high ceilings and the several windows open this room up! There is a full bathroom with a shower only and a laundry room with a laundry chute. A master bedroom on the main level with a queen size bed and a private bathroom with a shower only, completes the first floor.

Take one of the double staircases to the second floor where there is a bunk room that has eight single beds; this is perfect for a sleepover with your friends or cousins. There is a full-size bathroom with a shower only. In the second bedroom, there is two twin beds with a sliding door to another bedroom with a queen size bed. There is a second master bedroom, that has a queen size bed and a private full size bathroom.

Glen Eagles Lodge sleeps up to fourteen. This is a non-smoking cottage. Gas grill. Dogs are negotiable with a non-refundable pet fee. WiFi is available at Glen Eagles Lodge, but cannot be guaranteed.

A great weekend getaway!

"The home was spacious yet cozy, and packed with everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including extra linens and kitchen appliances that made it easy to cook for our large group. The fireplaces and the foggy, misty mornings were a treat and the group took advantage of the great location close to hiking trails and overlooks. Overall, we would definitely come back!

Perfect vacation home for a large group

"We were three parts of one family gathering from all over the country. Ages ranged from 7 to 80 and this home was perfect for all of us! There is a bedroom bathroom on the ground level for anyone not good with stairs. There were two staircases to access the 2nd floor, which made it convenient for everyone. One of the bedrooms upstairs had 8 beds!!!! Perfect room for lots of kids. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and serving meals. We ate most of our lunches and dinners out, but cooked big breakfasts at home everyday. There is a large griddle that makes it so easy to cook for a large group. Cleaning the griddle took some care, but it was worth it to cook for a group of 8 and having everyone eat together. Wood was provided for fires, and there were three fireplaces to choose from - two indoor, and one outdoor....in addition to a fire pit. The location wasn't really within walking distance to the town or the lake, but it was a beautiful wooded location that was extremely comfortable for our family. We loved our stay and would highly recommend it to others.

Even Better Than the Photos

"Glen Eagles Lodge was a wonderful place for our extended family to spend the holidays this winter. When we arrived, there was snow all over the ground and two massive fireplaces inside. The main house heat was sufficient, so we had fires in the back great room. We were amply supplied with firewood. The house was ideal for our purposes, complete with a huge bunk room that all of the cousins/nieces/nephews loved. The kitchen was enormous and very well-stocked. We made meals and baked pies every day. Rebecca contacted us to make sure we had everything we needed. Check out was a breeze. The only deficiencies in the house are 1) For a house this size, we would have liked to have a large dining table. The glass-topped table in the great room really impedes the functionality of half of the room as there are no seats. It ends up just being a large decor item. A dining table would be welcome. 2) The water pressure was off and on. Most of the time, water was plentiful and hot. Occasionally, however, the pressure dropped to nearly zero, once while I was in the shower. Having owned a cabin that was on a well, I just chalked it up to that. It righted itself shortly. Eagles Glen Lodge was a very cosy, inviting home for the holidays. It was clean and very comfortable. The staff at Robin Real Estate were easy to work with. I would recommend this lodge to anyone looking for a spot to hold a family reunion.
