Stonewall Cabin is a secluded log home that is nestled in on Happy Hill Lane. This cottage has a long driveway and a private pond for swimming, kayaking, or canoeing (provided), and catch and release fishing. The wrap around deck is covered in the backside of the cottage, overlooking the valley to the South and the Mountains. Sit back and relax in the Adirondack chairs and listen to the bird's chirp and feel the cool breeze.

The first floor has an open floor plan with a fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops, a dining room that seats six, and a living room area. There is an office area if the work just won't stop with a futon and a half bathroom. A master bedroom suite completes the main level with a double bed and a private bathroom with a shower only.

The second floor has a lounge area in the L-Shaped loft, the overlooks the living area of the first floor, and a futon. The sliding door separates the sound for those late risers; there are two bedrooms, the first bedroom has a double bed and a futon, and the second bedroom has a double bed and a large closet area. There is a full bathroom with a shower only, and a reading bench that has a large window for natural sun light.

The lower level of Stonewall Cabin allows you to step outside to enjoy a cozy fire in the firepit to roast some marshmallows and tell ghost stories. There is an additional living room area with a large flat screen Smart television and a kitchenette area with a mini-fridge, toaster over, and a hot plate, so you don't need to go far for those late-night snacks. There is also one bedroom with a double bed and a full bathroom with a shower only.

Stonewall Cabin sleeps up to ten. This is a non-smoking cottage. Dogs are negotiable for a non-refundable pet fee. Weber grill. WiFi is available at Stonewall Cabin, but cannot be guaranteed.

Private Getaway!

"We had a wonderful winter weekend getaway at this beautiful and private cabin. The weather was a challenge, so we simply enjoyed the fireplace and spacious accommodations, played board games, and cooked nice meals. We could also see how great the place would be at other times of the year. Highly recommend!

Girls Get-a-way

"I have used this property several times a year for the past 4-5 years and have always had a great girls get-a-way. I rent it for a quilt retreat with 6-7 ladies. The layout of the house works great for everything that we require. Charlotte, the homes caretaker is a gem! The house is incredibly clean and neat. Things that have not been quite right are not deal-breakers. A light bulb out here or there. The TV in the basement has not worked for the last 2 times I have rented it. The basement gas fireplace is not in working order, that would have been nice. It is time for new pots and pans in the kitchen. The upstairs sofa springs are broken and you sink to the floor when you sit on it. Just a few little things that are an easy fix that could make our experience even better than 5 stars. We will be back!

SPECTACULAR

"I have stayed in thousands of house rentals nothing like this one though. They had everything you need to cook from utensils to spices. The views were magical, we loved that everyone had their own room and how clean everything was. I will be coming back and staying longer it was a much needed little weekend get away before we have our baby. 10/10 house!

Great family vacation house

"We’ve been staying at Stonewall for several years and we love it. The house is clean, neat, and well appointed. There’s plenty of space for our group of 10 (6 adults and four grandkids, ages 1 to 14), as well as room for outdoor activities. We love fishing on the pond, sitting around the fire pit, or just lounging around the house, where there’s plenty of room for everyone. It’s only a short drive to the beach or town as well. Highly recommended!

Wonderful cabin with a great view

"The home is well maintained and was very clean. We had 6 adults and 3 children (ages 16, 7 and 4). It was plenty of room and everyone was comfortable. The kids road their bikes in the long driveway and they loved the pond. They caught fish and paddled around in the canoe. The living room and kitchen/dining area is one large area, which made it nice for cooking and visiting. The deck off of the back has a wonderful view of the mountains - it was the best place for sipping my morning coffee.
